Walls' Insurance Licences Revoked

TORONTO, November 24, 2000 - The Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) has announced the revocation of all insurance licenses held by Warren Wall, Shirley Joan Wall and their company Dual Financial Group Inc.

The revocation follows a FSCO investigation, the Walls' convictions for breaches of the Securities Act and an agreement to surrender their licenses reached with FSCO.

Warren Wall was sentenced to 30 months in jail and Shirley Wall was sentenced to 22 months in jail for the charges under the Securities Act which included making misrepresentations to investors and trading in limited partnerships without registration.

FSCO is advising anyone who has insurance products purchased through Warren Wall, Shirley Joan Wall or Dual Financial Group Inc. to contact their insurance company to confirm the policy details.
